Purfleet Trust Mural
This project was co-designed with the local charity The Purfleet Trust, a homelessness support charity. Through workshops and consultations with the clients and staff we designed and then created a mural that covered one side of their social space. Our workshopping brought about conversations looking at the activities the charity participates in and how vital these are to their clients; these were incorporated into the mural. Process of painting encouraged all staff and clients to get involved, creating opportunities not readily available to many and allowing them to feel a part of the environment we were creating.
This project was in partnership with The Garage, a performing arts charity focused on giving access to the arts to individuals who face challenging circumstances.
