2019 - Present
With support from Historic England I designed and illustrated this 2m long scroll depicting the history of King’s Lynn from 1204 when it was awarded its charter by King John to the present. It was inspired by the research and designs I had created for a 30m long temporary mural in the town for the octocentenary.
The scroll has been distributed to local schools and gone on to inspire continuing professional development for teachers, art workshops, an exhibition and a wonderful theatre production by Time Will Tell Theatre. It is set to continue its life with a colouring book of historic buildings to be published by King’s Lynn & West Norfolk Borough Council to celebrate the Heritage Action Zone project in the town.
