Blenheim Park Academy is one of the schools with whom I provide CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training for. I go into the school every term and help to form creative lesson plans for the subjects of art and DT. In consultation with each year's faculty, choose the curriculum topic we will focus on and the subject matter for their creative endeavours. We then have our own 'workshops' where we discuss ideas, methods and trial techniques enabling the teaching staff to feel contented and confident in the lessons they will be delivering. This also culminates in whole school art days throughout the year. The methods taught vary greatly and include drawing, painting, printing, collage, mod roc and sculpture.
